This past June, Most Venerable Phraprommethi-spokeperson and committee member of the Sangha Supreme Council and abbot of Wat Samphanthawongsaram Woraviharn-kindly presided over the ceremony to drive the initial foundation pile to officially establish the future location of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Singapore.

It started on May 23rd, 2015 through the chanting of the Buddha’s Mantra and Tijeevaravippavasa led by Most Venerable Phraprommethi, the committee member and spokesperson of the Supreme Sangha Council, and the monastic assembly in order to purify the temple and the land.

During June 26-28, 2015, Wat phra Dhammakaya Gumma, Japan, arranged a meditation retreat for locals. This meditation retreat was well participated by a group of 10 Japanese college students and 1 teacher, under the persuasion of Ven. Phramaha Pongsak Dhaniyo.
